Meet Dr. Monica
Hi there, I’m Dr. Monica.
I’m so glad you’re here. My journey into chiropractic care began long before I ever stepped into a clinic as a doctor - it started during my high school years after a severe concussion at a volleyball tournament. What followed were months of post-concussion syndrome, debilitating migraines, hormonal imbalances, and ongoing health challenges that deeply affected my daily life and hope for healing.
After seeing multiple specialists and being offered only medication-based solutions, I was introduced to chiropractic care through my mom. Within just a month, I was off medications and experiencing significant relief. As I continued care, my migraines faded, and I regained my focus, memory, and energy. That experience completely changed the direction of my life.
I had originally planned to pursue a career in conventional medicine, but after seeing firsthand how powerful chiropractic care could be — not just addressing symptoms, but caring for the whole person — I knew this was my calling. I went on to attend Life University to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, where my passion for holistic healing only grew stronger.
During my undergraduate years, I also faced my own struggles with hormonal imbalances, which led me to dive deeper into functional medicine and root-cause healing. That journey shaped the way I care for patients today. I have continued my education extensively in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic care, functional medicine, and functional neurology so I can better serve families at every stage of life.
My mission is not only to help you feel better, but to help you truly thrive. I am especially passionate about caring for mothers, babies, and families — supporting them through every season with personalized, compassionate care.
At Rapha Chiropractic, you can expect to be heard, supported, and cared for as a whole person. I’m here to guide you on your health journey and empower you to live fully, with the energy, balance, and vitality you deserve.
